Blog #1: Welcome Back to School!

1...My dream for Junior year is to make it to Cal Berkeley next year. This means taking honors classes and acing them all, getting great SAT scores, getting a lot of volunteer hours. Just creating the greatest transcript colleges have ever seen. Junior year is a very important year for colleges and i want to take advantage of that. I dont know what i want to do in life, but i figure if i get into a school like Berkeley, Stanford, or Cal Poly SLO i will have so many options of what i want to do i will easily be able to find at least one thing. In a nutshell, i want to be undoubtedly accepted into Berkeley senior year.

2...I want to learn a lot about United States history this year. I think it is very important to know a lot about the country one lives in. Not only would i appear more intelligent in average daily life, but when i travel abroad(which i want to do a lot in life) i will set out a good name for the United States. I also would like to do very well on the SAT's. I do not believe in grades or standardize testing, however the state of California does and they are a very important test in life. They really set a course for life and what is easily accomplishable in life and I think it is very important to do well on them.

3...I enjoy art a lot, and try to do well making it. I started very early with music, playing the bass and guitar as a child and guitar still through the present. In middle school i really got into photography and digital art . During my highschool years i got into street art, like wheatpasting(not graffiti, 9.5 times out of 10 it looks terrible and i don't believe in that either) and started finding out easier ways to do it. My close friend and i started screen printing onto newsprint to wheatpaste, and realized we could make stickers, shirts, posters, and just about anything with it. Most recently i would like to get into canvas art putting my street art onto a canvas so i have a tangible object to show off, or just admire myself.
